Massive Blackout in Spain and Portugal

On April 28, 2025, at 12:33 PM, a blackout occurred that affected much of the Iberian Peninsula, including Spain and Portugal. This event caused a widespread interruption of electrical supply, leaving millions of people without power and affecting essential services such as hospitals and transportation.


Despite the magnitude of the incident, the Spanish electricity grid operator has ruled out a cyberattack as the cause of the blackout. Authorities are continuing to investigate the reasons behind this sudden disruption in the electrical system. To date, no clear cause has been identified, although it is known that the system operates under the N-1 criterion, meaning it should be able to withstand the failure of one component without causing a massive interruption.


The blackout also sparked intense debate about the safety and resilience of electrical infrastructures in the region. Many citizens expressed concern about the lack of real-time information during the incident and the potential implications for the future.


Authorities are working to fully restore service and ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.

What will happen with the Spanish dubbing of ‘Shrek 5’ in Mexico?

Yazid Alberto Colorado Lobillo Eugenio Derbez and Alfonso Obregón have revealed that negotiations with DreamWorks Animation could be complicated. In an interview on Hablando de Cine Con, Derbez explained that his participation in Shrek 5 depends on DreamWorks allowing him to maintain his style of adapting the script for Latin American audiences. Alfonso Obregón, who has been the voice of Shrek in Latin America since the beginning of the franchise, has revealed that he has not even been contacted by the production company to reprise his role. During his participation in the podcast Jeffar Vlogs, the actor admitted that so far he has not received any formal offer and that he does not know if he will play the character again.
